Our Story
The Ernie’s Ices name has its roots in a traditional ice cream business that operated in the mid-20th century. While the original business later closed, its values — quality, care and community — inspired the creation of today’s Ernie’s Ices. The modern business was lovingly re-established in Cornwall, combining vintage charm with a fresh, contemporary approach.
Meet Trina
At the heart of Ernie’s Ices is Trina — our beautifully restored 1972 Bedford gelato van. More than just a serving vehicle, Trina is a character in her own right and a much loved feature at weddings across Cornwall. She brings a relaxed, nostalgic feel and always draws a smile.
